The idea
Historical Ocean Liners is a collection of 3D-printable ship models designed by Tino Thoß. The fleet currently counts 46 models from 25 shipping lines, spanning the years 1578 to 1980 – from the great transatlantic liners of the golden age to steamers, freighters and other famous vessels.
The models
Most models are designed in a common scale, so the ships can be displayed side by side and compared directly. Depending on the model, versions for FDM and resin printers are available. Every model page shows the scale, the print methods and a gallery of render images.
